Our Story
The years of 2011-2012 were a time of laying the foundations of Pars. In January 2013, with the launching of online student portals, the initiation of student fellowships and the broadcasting of satellite TV programs, Pars commenced its first academic year. It has been a thrilling and yet challenging adventure so far, and we are delighted in the progress that we have made, all of which is down to the support of our friends and partners, the hard work of our team, and the grace and provision of our almighty God.

We believe that theological education with the intention to form leaders should be based on a thoroughly biblical model rather than on current fashions, secular trends and methods, or sterile traditions. To this end, our learning program is informed by the Bible at all levels, from curriculum design to every course and written resource. [/callout]
Our learning program combines spiritual, practical and academic objectives in one holistic and integrated educational approach. Everything we do at Pars aims at upholding these principles as we seek to prepare lifelong learners and leaders that fully integrate faith in every sphere of life. [/callout]
We believe spiritual formation and ministerial skills can be catered for only by the help of churches who are involved, in an integrated way, in the formation of students. Our program of learning works in cooperation with churches and experienced workers in the mission field. [/callout]
Our program of learning is designed with deliberate reference to the context of today’s church in Iran and/or Iranians in the Diaspora. In curriculum as well as course design, the Islamic context, the recent history, the moral, economic and political crisis of the country, as well as the present condition of the church and her needs, will constantly be in view and inform our methods. [/callout]
We strive for immediate connections in our learning program between service and training, action and reflection, practice and theory. Our students take what they learn in their studies into their ministry, and then bring their experiences in ministry back into their studies so that there is an on-going conversation between Pars and the Iranian Church.[/callout]
We are an inter-denominational faculty that seeks to emphasise what we have in common, while, at the same time, striving to present different traditions with fairness and catering for specific denominational needs and emphases through elective courses.[/callout]
